About

Welcome to Mount Hermon!

There are several definitions for the word retreat. There’s the military version of “pulling back out of harm’s way – back to safety,” and then there’s what we think of in the setting like Mount Hermon, which is “a quiet or secluded place in which one can rest and relax – a period of seclusion for the purposes of prayer and meditation.” I actually like the combination of the two and would define Retreat as:  a time to enter into a safe haven, where you can be free to rest and to draw closer to God—and He to you.

Mount Hermon is a place where people from all around the world come to get away, to be in the midst of towering redwoods, flowing streams, clean air, and the fellowship of others on their journey of faith.  It’s a safe place to come as you are and to be welcomed home—like good friends re-connecting after time apart. It's a place focused on Jesus. That’s Mount Hermon.

Whether you’re planning a conference with all the amenities or a simple getaway, we are here to serve you and to support you and your group from start to finish. Our staff truly understands and lives out the ministry of hospitality, and we hope for the privilege of partnering in ministry with you.
